Payasa is one of the healthiest sweets of India. Here is the simple yet delicious Sorekayi/ sorekai /lauki payasa .
1 medium size sorekai /bottle gourd
3/4 cup fresh grated coconut
1/2 tbsp rice ( wash and soak the rice)
1.5 tbsp gasagase / poppy seeds
10 almonds
6 cashews
2 cardamoms
2 cloves
1 tbsp ghee
1/2 cup jaggery
4 cups water
1 cup milk
10 to 12 raisins
8 cashews
6 almonds
